Job Title: Skills Trainer
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (No weekends. No nights)
Pay: $40,000-$45,000/yr
Location: Crossroads Commons; A program of Crossroads Continuum
Job Summary: Crossroads Continuum is looking for Skills Trainers to join our Community Based Day Services program serving adults with autism and developmental disabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new program and make a significant impact on the lives of our participants!

Requirements:
- High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in education, behavior analysis, or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in the field of autism, education, or human services preferred
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation required
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check including references, CORI, and fingerprinting
- Ability to physically work with the client (may involve running, squatting, lifting, prompting, and physical management)
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide case management to program participants
- Provide personal care and assistance to individuals consistent with both their physical needs and defined support plans
- Implement community-based activities that promote personal choice, community inclusion, dignity, and respect while enhancing personal skill development
- Participate in and implement Behavior Management Guidelines
- Implement programming to meet the participant’s ISP goals
- Support program participants at community volunteer and vocational opportunities
